My proposal for the urban redevelopment plan of clarke quay area is to bring the hill and city closer to each other. Historical momuments should not stand alone in the city center being forgotten by the young, the vibrant urban culture........A horizontal skyscraper is exactly what this city is lacking.

First scheme is about using floating pods, make the river a living gallery while fixed gallery spots are located at strategical locations. The second scheme is a funky proposal that cut the london bus into half, transporting containers of city rooms from a barge to the city while citizens are transfered into the barge.

This is a design of a graduate school of chinese painting and calligraphy for CAFA (central academy of fine arts China), the idea of translating the physical form of a narrow alley into a spiritual route with activites constantly influencing and reshaping the form of public path way create the dialogue between public spaces and private teaching spaces.
